Recently finished the Wheel of Time series, stretching approximately 12000 pages, consisting of the books The Eye of the World, The Great Hunt, The Dragon Reborn, The Shadow Rising, The Fires of Heaven, Lord of Chaos, A Crown of Swords, The Path of Daggers, Winter's Heart, Crossroads of Twilight, Knife of Dreams, The Gathering Storm, Towers of Midnight, and A Memory of Light. All written by Robert Jordan, except the last few were finished by Brandon Sanderson. Wheel of time is right; that was a whole lot of reading. I also read The Stiehl Assassin, by Terry Brooks, which after hopefully one more book will round out the Shannara universe.
I've picked up several other books, that I've dug into, The Hermeneutical Spiral by Grant Osbourne. The Bible As Literature, by John B. Gabel, et al. I read the History of Israel, by J. Carl Laney. And worked through The Prophecy of Isaiah: An Introduction & Commentary, by Alec Motyer. As well as The Gospel according to God: Rediscovering the Most Remarkable Chapter in the Old Testament, by John MacArthur. I'm currently working through Acts an Exegetical Commentary in four volumes, by Craig S. Keener.
